[April 28 – May 9] Application for the 114 Academic Year Annual Service - Learning Interdisciplinary Partner Subsidy Program
1. 2025 Interdisciplinary Partner Subsidy Program for Service-Learning (114th Academic Year)
2. Application Period: From April 24, 2025, to May 9, 2025, 5:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Eligible Applicants:
Student clubs at NTU (including social service teams) and faculty-student teams from service-learning courses that carry out service projects involving intra-campus collaboration, off-campus interpersonal collaboration, or resource integration.
The service activities must take place off-campus (excluding overseas locations) and be co-organized by at least two entities. Projects must include service activities, service-learning courses, or social service teams to qualify for this subsidy.
4. Scope of Subsidy:
(1) Intra-campus Collaboration:
By taking courses, joining clubs, or participating in extracurricular activities, students can connect with peers beyond their own class or year. Through coursework, club projects, camps, or service teams, students identify local social issues, co-develop solutions, seek resources for implementation, and promote successful experiences—turning the entire city into a classroom.
(2) Interpersonal Collaboration:
This includes “interpersonal connections” across schools, disciplines, and age groups, allowing students to find like-minded partners to collaborate on projects, possibly forming friendships or entrepreneurial teams near their hometowns.
(3) Resource Integration:
Involves pooling resources from NTU, internship sites, hometown communities, NGOs, and private enterprises to collaboratively contribute to service related areas and bring new possibilities to assist on local development.
(4) Multi-year Projects:
Students are encouraged to plan fixed-location, multi-year service models. Through long-term service, the model can be continuously refined to better meet local needs and fulfill the original intent of promoting service-learning and community engagement.
5. Subsidized Items and Budget Limits:
Subsidies may cover necessary service-related expenses such as meals, hourly wages, external attendance fees, insurance, printing, transportation, accommodation, stationery, paper, folders, postage, etc.
The final subsidy amount will be determined by the Service-Learning Program Committee based on factors such as location, number of participants, and duration.
6. Application Procedure:
Applicants must submit both electronic and hard copies of all required documents to the Student Activity Division by 5:00 PM on May 9, 2025. Additionally, send the Word file of the application form to tzuyeh@ntu.edu.tw.
Applications submitted after the deadline, with incomplete materials, or in incorrect formats will not be accepted and will be returned on-site.
7. Project Duration:
Projects should be carried out within the academic year, specifically from June 9 to August 31, 2025.
8. Fund Reimbursement:
(1) First-time projects:
All receipts, a final report, and photos must be submitted for reimbursement no later than September 12, 2025.
